Catalyst is a strategic marketing company with a conscience. We are dedicated to helping start-up ventures and social enterprises in crafting socially-responsible, market leading brands. Catalyst develops marketing campaigns based on the synergies between marketing innovation and corporate social responsibility. We drive change by cultivating sustainable marketing systems through the identification of strategic imperatives and enhancement of tactical marketing designed to meet business objectives. We enable our clients with insightful, results-driven marketing expertise, as well as access to our professional advisor and investor network. We subsequently allocate a portion of these profits to funding social enterprise programs that solve development challenges and return value to local communities. In addition, we engage both the private and public sectors and seek out mutually-beneficial, strategic partnerships that advance social entrepreneurship in Asia.

Catalyst emerged from a simple idea- what if we could infuse the marketing infrastructure of new ventures with inspiration, innovation and accountability to the double-bottom-line? Driven by our shared values and experience working within start-up companies, non-profit organizations and large-cap multinational corporations, our team of scrappy, creative mavericks is dedicated to changing ‘business as usual’.

Catalyst’s logo is an illustration of the ripple effect. Our business model is underpinned by “double-bottom-line accountability”- specifically, the attainment of both financial and social returns on capital. Over the past decade, we have witnessed the collapse of many firms plagued by greed and corporate malfeasance. We believe that businesses should look beyond just producing profits to defining how they will serve as stewards to the community and catalysts for social change.
Just as a raindrop into a pond creates concentric circles of change, our "Drop and Ripple" logo communicates our belief that great things come from small beginnings.
